The Core Shooter is designed to manufacture cores in accordance with the COLD BOX technology.
The Machine features a complete set of equipment including the following:
1. Core Autiomated Machine;
2. Core Sand Mixer;
3. Triethylamine Gassing Unit;
4. Gas Neutralization Unit
A volume of a single shot of the core sand equals to 15 sq. dm. It is possible to increase volume of the shot sand by way of making multiple shots.
Cores are made in the Core Machine in compliance with the following stages:
1. Set Core Box on the Core Machine table;
2. Prepare core sand and supply it to the shooting hopper;
3. Shoot the core sand to the Core Box cavities;
4. Purge cores with a catalytic agent (triethylamine) to have the sand hardened;
5. Deliver ready-made cores to the removal device;
6. Store ready-made cores on pallets for their further delivery to the moulding and core setting station.
Throughout all stages of core production an exhaust ventilation takes air from the Core Machine and delivers it to the Gas Neutralization Unit where the gasses get neutralized in a weak solution of sulphuric acid with further neutralization of the reaction products with the help of caustic soda.
