At out Foundry castings are made with the use of leading European equipment.
Moulds are produced on DISA 131-Z-400 boxless moulding line with a vertical parting
The Foundry is equipped with a highly productive DISA 131-Z-400 moulding line (Denmark) which makes it possible to ensure high precision of produced castings and significantly reduce the production cycle. Danish DISAMATIC automatic moulding lines with the use of cores allow us produce castings of any degree of complexity whose weight shall be 0.2 to 30 kg. The modern equipment allows make minimum tolerances for machining. Thanks to that we can reduce time and expenses related to manufacture of finished products.
Iron melting is made in the system of EGES induction furnaces
The EGES induction melting system of ULTRAMELT series is meant for ironmelting and is used in production of iron castings. The System was designed for a more efficient use of converter capacity and for reduction of downtime during iron melting. With this end purpose the system implements two converters and three furnaces. Herewith power distribution between the furnaces is made more effectively with the help of a computer control program.
Iron pouring is made with the use of PRESSPOUR system
Complex of PRESSPOUR pouring systems is used for holding and pouring ferrous metals. The АВР PRESSPOUR induction pouring furnace of ОСС 30 type features a container (capsule) with an air-tight cylindrical cover. Sprue and pouring channels (lift tubes) end at the capsule bottom. Iron is fed by means of pressurised air which is pumped under the cover and forces iron through the channels.
Molding sand is conditioned with the use of a TM mixer
The TM mixer is meant for conditioning molding sands with bentonite binders. A large twin S-shaped plough (activator) and turbines (whirling heads) which are located over it provide fast molding sand mixing. The sand and additives are dosed into the mixer with the help of a weighing device.
To control and prove quality of castings we use laboratory equipment which allows us determine quality of both incoming components and of final products.
In order to get cavities inside of castings we use cores produced on DISA CORE 25-40 MP-Q machine
The DISA CORE 25-40 MP-Q machine is used to produce cores in compliance with the cold box process with catalyst purging in core boxes with horizontal parting.
From the Synchronized Belt Conveyor (SBC) molds get onto vibration conveyor where sand molds get broken. After that castings together with sand move along the vibration conveyor to DISACOOL cooling drum. The DISACOOL drum provides soft and effective separation and cooling of sand and castings.
Fettling of castings is made in a drum type Shot Blast Machine produced by Wheelabrator Company
Wheelabrator shot blast machines of drum type are units of discontinuous operation which are meant for sand and castings removal.
